COMPETITION: all competitions are fully operated by the promotor and these terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the promoter’s website by what means entrants submit entry through the website
THE PROMOTER: Cruise Van Co is the sole promoter, the competitions on the Website are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Apple, although third party companies are used for a purpose of marketing.

2. The competition
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://cruisevanco.co.uk. (the “Website”)
2.2 All competitions are skill-based competitions and an entry fee is payable each time you enter. All entrant are offered the chance to win by answering an easy or multiple choice question. A free entry route will be available. Payment must be made in pounds sterling
2.3 To be in with a chance of winning, everyone who enters the competition (an “Entrant”) will be required to correctly answer a question or solve a problem set by the Promoter (the “Competition Question”).
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These dates shall be referred to as the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
3.2 If it is absolutely necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates. If the Promoter does change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date of a competition, the new details will be displayed on the Website.
3.3 All competition entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. All competition entries received after the specified time on the Closing Date are automatically disqualified and will not be entitled to any form of refund.
3.4 The maximum number of entries to the competition will be stated on the Website. The number of entries you are able to make may be limited if the maximum number of entries is reached.
3.5 All competitions entrants should be aware that competition deadlines (“closing date”) could be missed due as a result of technical issues of any sort which could prevent an excess of competition entrants regardless of maximum limit.
3.6 These competition rules shall not create or be construed as creating any form of contract, joint venture or other agreement between any Entrant and the Promoters.
3.7. To enter the competition:
(a) Go to the Website and view the Competition Question;
(b) Simply select your quantity of entries and then select your answer to the competition question using the dropdown box;
(c) Follow and complete the checkout process and submit the necessary online entry form
(d) All entrants are responsible for providing and maintaining the Promoter with correct contact details.
(e) Finally, fill and complete the payment section to receive your order confirmation, if you answered correctly you will receive your ticket number(s).
3.8. All entries must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English will automatically be disqualified and no form of refund will be given at any time.
3.9. The Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received either by email or on the “website” dashboard along with your allocated ticket number(s), unless you opted to use our free entry option.
3.10. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are not successfully completed, are lost or are delayed regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.11. By purchasing entries and submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.12 All entrants who wish to enter a competition using our free entry method must be eligible and comply to the following conditions:
(a) Complete your entry by clearly writing all relevant information (included below) on one side of an unenclosed plain white post card and post using a first class postage service to the Promoter at the following address: Cruise Van Co, Unit 114363, PO Box 6945, London, W1A 6US
(b) Hand delivered entries is not accepted and will not be entered into the competition draw
(c) Please include the following information in your entry
(i) Your full name and date of birth;
(ii) Your full postal address;
(iii) A contact telephone number and email address;
(iv) Your answer to the Competition Question;
(v) A short statement confirming that you are a UK resident, over 18 years of age and that you agree to the terms and conditions stated on our “website”
(d) Incomplete or illegible entries will be disqualified;
(e) All entrants using the free entry method must be posted to the promoter separately and to ensure that you are posting only one entry per person or per household.
(f) By entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept these terms and conditions;
(f) Your entry must be received by the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. Entries received after the Closing Date will not be entered into the random draw; if proof of postage is acquired by the entrant this will not guarantee your entry into the chosen draw.
(h) The Promoter will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the Competition Question is correct if the number of paid entries reaches any cap or limit before your free entry is received, you will not be entered into the random draw.
(J) All entrants are required to create an account on our website in order for your free entry to be processed correctly. Ensure all details on your entry form correspond correctly and accurately to the details on your registered account to receive your order confirmation along with your ticket number. Postal entries received that are not correspondent to their registered account will not be accepted or processed.
CHOOSING A WINNER
4.1 Upon the completion of each competition, a date for the live draw will be displayed on the website along with any links to watch the live draw if possible. during the live draw we will use a random number generator to generate the winning ticket, the winning number will be displayed and the promoter will be in touch using the contact details used upon entry. There may be an extension if the minimum number of tickets has not been reached. The new closing date will be displayed on the website accordingly, alternatively if the total entry amount (85%) is deemed sufficient according to the promotor sole discretion, this will be awarded to the winning ticket as explained in clause 6.6
4.2. All Entrants who correctly answer the Competition Question will be placed into a draw and the winner will be chosen by random draw. The random draw will take place as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within 7 days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”). All Entrants will have their names and entry numbers included on either an excel, CSV or PDF document in which will be published on the Website on the ‘Entry Lists’ page. These may be visible during the live draw.

4.3 the promoter reserves the right to finish each competition and conduct the live draw early on the occasion where the total maximum entries per competition has been reach.
5. Eligibility
5.1. The competition is only open to all residents in the United Kingdom aged 18 years or above, except:
(a) Employees of the Promoter;
(b) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration;
(c) Members of the promoters household.
5.2. By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition and claim the winning prize. If you fail to provide the Promoter with any such proof or other information that they may require within a reasonable time, you may be disqualified from the competition resulting in a redraw for said competition.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:
(a) Automatically generated by computer;
(b) Incomplete.
(c) Received after the closing date.
5.4 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition. This includes what we believe to be rude or abusive behaviour directed at the Promoter or anyone associated with them included but not limited to, social media, email, telephone.
5.5 No refunds of the entry fee will be given in any event or form, including but not limited to;
(a) If, following your entry into the competition, you subsequently find out that you are not eligible to enter the competition or claim the Prize;
(b) if, following your entry into the competition the eligibility criteria for entering the competition or claiming the Prize changes and you are no longer eligible; or
(c) If you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter for any reason.
(d) You enter after the closing date
(e) A change of mind
(f) You believe there to be an unauthorised pay on your card.
(g) You made a mistake
5.6 If the Entrant is also engaging in any of the following, no refund will be given at any time:
(a) Any form of fraud (actual or apparent);
(b) Fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) Fraudulent concealment;
(d) Hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the Website; or
(e) Amending, or unauthorised use of, any of the code that constitutes the website
All of their entries will be declared void, no refunds will be given and they may be prevented from participating in any future competitions.
5.7. Each competition will allow the entrant to participate in as many entries as required up until the maximum number (if any) of entries per competition is received. For all entrants submitting their free entry must be done separately. If entries are received in a bulk amount per postal entry, this will not be accepted and will only count as one singular entry as mentioned in clause 3.12. Entrants submitting free entries must submit each entry separately. Bulk entries, if received, will not be accepted and will be re-allocated and counted as one single entry. Some competitions will have maximum entries and so they may not be counted if exceeded.
6. The prize
6.1. The prize for the competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date. The promoter offers no representation to the value of the price or its absolute condition, prizes excluding cash are not evaluated for its structural or roadworthiness all entrants should consider gaining legal advice and make their own enquiries if in doubt before entering a competition. Our prizes in relations to physical items are treated as a sold as seen basis per the gallery found on each competitions. The promoter is in no way responsible for any events, including but limited to, bodily injury or loss suffered to the winner that occur after the handover of prizes.
6.2. Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to 85% of total entries received for said competition. If any details of the Prize change, the Promoter will endeavour to update the Website as soon as reasonably possible.
6.3. The Promoter makes no representations and gives no warranties about the Prize, its value, its condition or any other information provided on the Website. This also includes if the information provided on the website is accurate, complete or up to date.
6.4. The promotor will often set a prize that is of a vehicle category, if this is the case:
(a) Vehicles will come with a valid MOT.
(b) Prize winners of prize vehicles will not include any type of insurance or warranty and it will be the full responsibility of the winner to ensure they have correct and adequate insurance before driving or moving the vehicle onto public road following the DVLA requirements.
(c) The Promoter are in no way responsibility for the prize after it has been handed over to the winner. The chosen winner will also be fully responsible for complying with all ongoing and current laws and regulations, this includes its vehicle class/category, DVLA requirements and ensuring they operate it in a safe and responsible manner and acquire necessary licences, qualification, knowledge and all experience needed to operate the vehicle safely and legally.
(d) Upon receiving the vehicle we will exchange ownership, complete the necessary V5 logbook section and exchange the V5C logbook new keepers slip. we will either send off the V5 for new keeper or do this using the online GOV portal. It is the full responsibility of new owner to acquire road tax. Vehicle road tax will not be included during the exchange.
(e) The winner is also responsible for ensuring that they follow DVLA guidelines and acquire all relevant safety equipment including clothing before operating the vehicle.
6.5. The Prize may be supplied by a third-party supplier (the “Supplier”). Details of the Supplier (if any) will be provided on the Website otherwise all prizes available on the website are owned by the promoter until the successful handover to the winner.
6.6. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for an alternative cash prize (“Cash Prize”) if the total Number of Entries to the Competition has not met the minimum number of entries by the closing date, there will be a cash prize awarded if deemed sufficient at the sole discretion of the promotor otherwise the cash prize will equal to 85% of the total entry fees received for the competition. The remaining 15% of entry fees will be awarded to the promotor to cover any marketing fees and expenses.
6.7. The promoter also reserves the right to offer a cash prize if:
(a) Circumstances arise beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter make it necessary to do so.
(c) The Winner decided for a Cash Prize instead of the Prize.
6.8 All prizes won cannot be transferred or substituted for other cash prizes unless otherwise agreed at the sole discretion of the promoter.
7. Winners
7.1 The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7.2 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 14 of days of the Draw Date, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
7.3. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. This could include entry lists. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will publish the full name and county/town of residence of all prize winners on the Website. On some occasions this may be unclear due to technical issues such as internet speed and bandwidth connectivity.
8. Claiming the prize
8.1 You must claim the Prize personally unless other arrangements are made to which the promoter agrees to. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf. Identification check may also be required upon the handover of all prizes, the promotor will be as flexible as practically possible. The winner of both vehicles and other prizes will be made available for collection within 10 days days of the winning live draw for the competition, the collection location will be Clacton-On-Sea. However cash prizes can be transferred directly to the winners. Smaller prizes can be delivered to the winners address.
8.2 If your personal details, including contact information, changes at any time you should notify the Promoter as soon as reasonably possible. Notifications should be sent to the Promoter via email to info@cruisevanco.co.uk. Notifications must include details of the competition you have entered, your old details and your new details. If your details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, the Promoter will use your old details if it needs to try to contact you.
8.3 Any Cash Prize will be transferred directly to the winners nominated bank account. The winner must provide evidence that it is the sole or joint beneficiary of the bank account. Failure to do so within 14 days will result in disqualification from the competition and the winner forfeiting the prize. In such circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
8.4 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if you are unable to or do not take up the prize or if any incorrect information is given upon bank transfers.
9. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize.
10. Data protection and publicity
10.1 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the website.
10.2. If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition. You further agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
10.3. If you do not wish to participate in any publicity in regards to the competition entered, we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with to prove that the competition has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.
10.4 If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide further personal information and proof of your identity in order to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You are entitled to request further details about how your personal information is being used. You may also withdraw your consent to your personal information being used in such way but by doing so you may prevent the Prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition and forfeit the Prize. You will not be entitled to any refund of your entry fee. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
10.5 Please note that under data protection laws you are entitled to request that the Promoter does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request you will be withdrawing from the competition as it will not be possible to contact you in the event that you are the winner. You will not be entitled to any refund of any entry fee if you withdraw from the competition. If you do not wish any of your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter at info@cruisevanco.co.uk prior to the Closing Date.
11. Refunds/Return Policy
11.1 All Entries to the Competition are final and no refunds shall be made at any time or for any reason, except in the case where the promoter cancels the competition. However this is at the promotors sole discretion and may be adjusted on a case by case occasion.
11.2 Each Entrant agrees that the usual requirement under the Consumer Protection(Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 for any goods and services ordered online to be supplied within 30 days will not apply to this Prize Competition.
12. General
12.1 The Promoter does not accept responsibility for any entries that have not been received due to failures in computer systems, bandwidth malfunctions, high Internet traffic, hardware failure, software failure, server faults or any other reason.
12.2. The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the Website.
12.3 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and any future competitions.
12.4 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
12.5 The competitions on the Website are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook. By entering the competitions, Entrants agree that Facebook has no liability and is not responsible for the administration or promotion of the competitions.
12.5. These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12.6. You should print a copy of these terms and conditions and keep them for your records.
12.7 Save for death or personal injury the Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including economic loss) suffered to or sustained by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of the Promoters, nor will their servants or their agents in developing, planning and Administrating the Competition, distributing the Prize to the Winner or following the distribution of the Prize; The Promoter accepts no liability for errors or omissions contained within the Prize details, description or specification or any other part of the Website. It is the responsibility of each Entrant (and in particular the Winner) to satisfy him/herself as to the accuracy of any such details and/or any content of this website.
12.8 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any updates or changes to the terms and conditions will be published on the competition website accordingly.
12.9 On the occasion where a vehicle is listed as a competition the promoter reserves the right to advertise elsewhere as a traditional sale where necessary, this also applies when the minimum ticket entries are not or may not be met.
